The zip sits on the inside face of the boot in gold hardware and runs the full height, so the ankle opens right up and the foot goes in without a fight. There is a tab stitched to the back of the collar to pull against. The toe is round, the sole is lugged and set on a low block heel, and a contrast welt stitch runs between the two.
