A tall boot finished with a knitted cuff
The shaft runs up to mid-calf and the top of it is knitted rather than panelled, so it folds and sits against the leg instead of standing away from it. Below that the boot laces the whole way down the front, with a buckled strap across the instep and a heavy tread sole under it.
