A coat that runs almost to the ankle, fastening double breasted with long notch lapels that reach down past the chest. Each cuff carries a buttoned tab, which narrows the sleeve at the wrist and stops the whole length reading as one straight drop.

- Long notch lapels. They run well down the chest before the buttons start.
- Double breasted. Two columns of buttons, fastened or left open.
