A flat platform, cut to the ankle
The whole height sits in the sole. A thick platform runs level from heel to toe in stacked contrast layers, so there is no pitch under the foot and no heel to balance on. The upper is plain and unbroken, cut just above the ankle bone, and a zip on the inside edge opens it wide enough to step into.
